Local Transport

The Local Organising Committee (LOC) plans to provide organised transport between the official event hotel and the competition area for participants staying in official accommodation.

The transport system is intended to support efficient movement of teams between accommodation and competition venues while reducing the need for private vehicle use and parking demand at the courses.

Detailed transport schedules, departure times and boarding procedures will be communicated closer to the event once final competition schedules and accommodation numbers are confirmed.

The exact transport plan and daily shuttle operations will be finalised after the competition schedule, match timetable and course allocation are confirmed. Teams should therefore consider all current transport information as preliminary and subject to operational adjustments.

The two competition courses and Tournament Central are located within the same general area of Pavilniai Regional Park and are planned to operate as one connected championship venue.

Approximate walking distances:

  • Official Hotel ↔ Tournament Area: transport required
  • Tournament Central ↔ Competition Courses: approximately 10–15 minutes walking
  • Course ↔ Course: approximately 10–15 minutes walking

Teams choosing to stay outside official accommodation are welcome to do so and may still use the official event shuttle transport if capacity allows.

However, teams staying outside the official hotel will be responsible for arranging their own transport to and from the official event hotel, as the official hotel is currently planned to be the only shuttle pick-up and drop-off location.

Teams should take this into account when selecting accommodation and planning daily travel times.

Participants using private vehicles should note that parking capacity near the competition area may be limited and additional guidance will be published closer to the event.

Vilnius also offers reliable alternatives including:

  • Bolt and Uber ride-sharing services
  • Public bus network
  • Taxi services
  • Car rental options
