Event Overview

The WFDF 2026 World Team Disc Golf Championships in association with PDGA (WTDGC) will bring together national Disc Golf teams from around the world for five days of international competition in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Hosted by the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) in cooperation with the Local Organising Committee (LOC) — consisting of Team DiscCity, the Lithuanian Flying Disc Federation, and the Lithuanian Disc Golf Federation — WTDGC 2026 will mark the sixth edition of the championship and the largest edition to date.

For the first time in event history, the championship will feature two competition divisions:

  • Open Teams
  • Masters Teams

The event will also, for the first time, be held in association with the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA), reflecting continued development and growing international recognition of team Disc Golf and strengthening cooperation between the two leading international organisations involved in the sport.

With 49 teams representing 32 countries currently registered across both divisions, WTDGC 2026 is set to become the largest and most internationally diverse edition of the championship to date.

Competition will take place across two championship-standard 18-hole Disc Golf courses located in the scenic Pavilniai Regional Park area of Vilnius, offering players a unique combination of elite competition and natural surroundings close to the Lithuanian capital.

As part of the event week, Vilnius will also host the Global Disc Golf Forum on Saturday 5 September 2026. The Forum will bring together National Federations, event organisers, partners and other Disc Golf stakeholders to exchange ideas, discuss the future development of the sport and strengthen international cooperation within the Disc Golf community.
