Global Disc Golf Forum

The Global Disc Golf Forum (GDGF) will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania on Saturday, 5 September 2026, at the official WTDGC hotel — Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva.

Organised alongside the WFDF 2026 World Team Disc Golf Championships, in association with PDGA, the Forum will bring together representatives of National Federations, Disc Golf Associations, international governing bodies, event organisers and organisations involved in the development of Disc Golf around the world.

The Forum is designed as a full-day working and networking event, creating space for discussion, knowledge sharing and long-term cooperation across the global Disc Golf community.

The Vilnius Forum is also intended to be the first in a series of similar conversations around the world over the coming year, allowing more voices from different regions to contribute to the future direction of international Disc Golf. This outreach will continue with the PDGA Asia Summit in the Philippines in November 2026, where WFDF members and PDGA Country Coordinators are expected to participate alongside regional Disc Golf leaders.

Programme & Agenda
The Forum will begin with registration and networking coffee at 08:00, followed by a full-day programme of presentations, discussions and round-table sessions.

Contributors include representatives and leadership from WFDF, PDGA, UDisc, House of Discs, PDGA Europe, the European Disc Golf Federation and national Disc Golf organisations, with sessions covering the global development of Disc Golf, participation and course development, technology, cooperation between stakeholder groups, the Olympic Movement and future priorities for the sport.

An important part of the afternoon will be dedicated to round-table discussions on the future of Disc Golf in individual countries and how WFDF and PDGA can support its development, giving participating national organisations an opportunity to contribute directly to the discussion.

The main Forum programme will conclude at 18:00, followed by an Evening Reception and informal social gathering from 20:00 to 22:00.

Forum Participants

The Global Disc Golf Forum has already attracted 38 registered participants from 17 countries, representing national Flying Disc and Disc Golf federations, WFDF, PDGA, PDGA Europe, EDGF, event organisers and organisations from across the Disc Golf industry.

Participants currently registered are travelling to Vilnius from across Europe, North America, Australia and Africa, creating a diverse international group of federation leaders, PDGA Country Coordinators, event organisers and industry representatives.

Registration remains open, with participation limited to a maximum of 50 participants.

Special Forum Discs
A limited run of 100 discs featuring a special Global Disc Golf Forum stamp has been produced for Forum participants.
These discs have been prepared specifically for the Vilnius Forum as a special keepsake for those taking part in this first Global Disc Golf Forum.

Registration
Participation in the Global Disc Golf Forum is free of charge.

All participating WTDGC teams are encouraged to send representatives. Participation is also open to representatives of National Federations and Disc Golf Associations that are not attending WTDGC, as well as other invited stakeholders involved in the development of Disc Golf.
