Global Disc Golf Forum

The Global Disc Golf Forum (GDGF) will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania on Saturday 5 September 2026 at the official WTDGC hotel — Radisson Blu Hotel.

The Forum is planned as a full-day event bringing together representatives of National Federations, Disc Golf Associations, event organisers, athletes and stakeholders involved in the international development of Disc Golf.

Organised alongside the WFDF 2026 World Team Disc Golf Championships in association with PDGA, the Forum aims to create space for discussion, knowledge sharing and long-term cooperation across the global Disc Golf community.

The Vilnius Forum is also intended to be the first in a series of similar conversations around the world over the coming year, allowing more voices from different regions to contribute to the future direction of international Disc Golf. This outreach will continue with the PDGA Asia Summit in the Philippines in November 2026, where WFDF members and PDGA Country Coordinators are expected to participate alongside regional Disc Golf leaders.

The Forum is expected to run for most of the day and include:

  • Presentations and updates from international Disc Golf stakeholders
  • Open discussions and exchange of ideas
  • Topics related to the future development of Disc Golf
  • Networking opportunities between organisations and participants
  • A reception / informal social session
  • Food and drinks at the conclusion of the programme

Participants attending the Forum are encouraged not to schedule other obligations for that day, as the intention is to create a meaningful working and networking environment rather than a short meeting.

Programme & Speakers
The Forum will begin with registration and networking coffee from 08:00, followed by a full-day programme of presentations, discussions and round-table sessions. The programme will conclude with a Welcome Reception for WTDGC delegations from 18:00 to 20:00.

The current programme includes contributions from:

  • Robert “Nob” Rauch, President of WFDF — WFDF strategic priorities for Disc Golf and the Olympic pathway
  • Josh Lichti, Co-founder and CEO of UDisc; Monica Thomas, COO of UDisc; and Luke Hausrath, Head of Experience at UDisc — participation, growth and opportunities in global Disc Golf
  • Steve Ganz, Senior Advisor, PDGA — Disc Golf technology and its role in the development of the sport
  • Seth Fendley, CEO of House of Discs — connecting stakeholder groups to grow Disc Golf
  • WFDF and PDGA representatives — round-table discussions on the future of Disc Golf in individual countries and how WFDF and the PDGA can support its development
  • Craig Sheather, WFDF Disc Golf Committee Chair — questions and comments
  • Doug Bjerkaas, Executive Director, PDGA — closing address, strategic priorities and a summary of the day’s discussions

The programme will also provide opportunities for questions, open discussion and networking throughout the day.
The programme is currently being finalised and may be subject to minor changes.

Special Forum Discs
A limited run of 100 discs featuring a special Global Disc Golf Forum stamp has been produced for Forum participants.
These discs have been prepared specifically for the Vilnius Forum as a special keepsake for those taking part in this first Global Disc Golf Forum.

Registration
Participation in the Global Disc Golf Forum is free of charge.
During the initial registration period, each National Federation or Disc Golf Association may register up to two representatives.

All participating WTDGC teams are encouraged to send representatives. Participation is also open to representatives of National Federations and Disc Golf Associations that are not attending WTDGC.
If additional capacity remains available after the initial registration period, registration may be opened to additional representatives and other interested participants.
