Below is the current high-level schedule for the WFDF 2026 World Team Disc Golf Championships in association with PDGA (WTDGC). This overview is intended to support travel planning and preparation for participating teams.

Detailed match schedules, exact tee times, daily course allocations and division assignments will be published closer to the event once the final number of participating teams and competition format details are confirmed.

TEAM ARRIVALS AND PRACTICE

Team arrivals and practice opportunities will be available in the days leading up to the championship.

Official practice sessions must be booked in advance through an online reservation system which will be made available prior to the event.

Team Registration will take place before the start of competition and will be available across multiple days to accommodate different team arrival schedules.

Saturday 5 September

  • Courses open for unofficial practice
  • Global Disc Golf Forum

Sunday 6 September and Monday 7 September

  • Courses open for official practice
  • Team Registration for teams already in Vilnius
  • Captains’ Meeting (Monday – 6:00 PM)

Tuesday 8 September

  • Courses open for official practice
  • Team Registration – continued
  • Competition rounds (first matches expected to begin at 12:00 PM or later)
  • Opening Ceremony (early evening)

Wednesday 9 SeptemberFriday 11 September

  • Competition rounds across both courses
  • Quarter Finals and Semi Finals

Saturday 12 September

  • Standings Finals
  • Bronze Medal and Gold Medal matches
  • Medal and Closing Ceremony (late afternoon)

Should weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances cause delays, the schedule may be adjusted to ensure completion of all competition rounds by the evening of Saturday 12 September.

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • All teams are expected to attend the Opening Ceremony.
  • Attendance at the Captains’ Meeting is mandatory only for Team Captains or their designated representatives.

Further details regarding exact match times, locations, course allocations and operational procedures will be communicated closer to the event.

A detailed round-by-round competition schedule, including Open and Masters division assignments, match times and venue allocation for each day, will be published after confirmation of the final list of participating teams and completion of the competition draw.
