Media Information

The WFDF 2026 World Team Disc Golf Championships welcomes media representatives, photographers, videographers and content creators interested in covering the event.

This page provides general information regarding media access, accreditation, content usage and event-related media operations.

Media Accreditation
All photographers, videographers, journalists, broadcasters, content creators and other media representatives wishing to receive official media accreditation for WTDGC 2026 are required to complete the WFDF Media Registration Application.

Media accreditation is available in two categories:

  • Professional Media – media organisations and individuals producing content for commercial purposes, public reporting, sponsors, subscribers or other professional publications.
  • Hobby Media – individuals representing a team, National Federation, player or fan who intend to publish event-related content without commercial or financial gain. Access to restricted areas may be granted at the discretion of WFDF.

Media accreditation is subject to approval by both WFDF and the Local Organising Committee (LOC). Applicants will be contacted by Pablo Naya, WFDF Communications & Social Media Manager, once their application has been reviewed.

A recent passport-style portrait photograph is required as part of the application.
We encourage all media representatives to submit their applications as early as possible.

Media Coverage & Broadcasting
Official live coverage of WTDGC 2026 is planned in cooperation with Pulsea Disc Golf Media, PDGA and WFDF media partners.

Additional information regarding broadcast schedules, featured matches, commentary teams and media distribution will be announced closer to the event.

Photography & Video
Photography and video recording for editorial, promotional and non-commercial purposes are generally permitted in public spectator areas, provided they do not interfere with competition, players, officials or broadcast operations.

Commercial filming, drone usage or large-scale production activities will require prior written approval from WFDF and the Local Organising Committee.
