Sue Summers, Mundaring Disc Golf Committee &WTDGC24 Event Co-Tournament Director 

Sue has run three club disc golf tournaments and assisted with administrative and onsite support at the 2023 WA Open. Sue led Mundaring Disc Golf as President from 2020-2022, has sat on the WFDF Disc Golf Committee since 2020, sat on the Australian Disc Golf board from 2018 To 2022 currently joins Ken on the Mundaring Sporting Club board. Sue competed for Australia in the 2019 and 2022 WTDGC events and the World Ultimate Club Championships in 2014. Sue was recently granted a place on the Australian Institute for Sport’s 2024 Women Leaders in Sport workshop series. Outside sports, Sue completed a Bachelor of Creative Media in Sound in 2021 and runs her own business in music services.

Ken Summers, Mundaring Disc Golf President and WTDGC24 Event Co-Tournament Director 

Ken ran the Australian Disc Golf major and WA State title the RPM Discs WA Open, with administrative and event support from WTDGC24 Event Co-Tournament Director. The event drew 97 disc golfers from WA, the Eastern States and overseas, and took place over three days. The event included a social program of evening events, local and international media coverage, opening and closing presentations and prizes and player packs.
Ken has run nine major disc golf tournaments since 2016, has 25 years’ experience in sports coaching and committee work, has sat on the committee as the Vice President for Australian Disc Golf from 2018 to 2022 and is currently MDG President. Ken competed for Australia in the WFDF 2019 WTDGC in Estonia and was team manager for the Australian Team at the WFDF 2022 WTDGC in Croatia. He has also competed internationally in ultimate and volleyball. Outside sport Ken has completed a Master’s in cyber security Strategy & Diplomacy (UNSW 2022) and has 20 years’ experience as a Cyber Security Risk professional within the Australian resource sector (Hydrocarbons & Mining).
